Stop using this word Hindu for such stupid question. ON NGC there was a programme on Eunneuchs which told about some people changing to them voluntarily, and half of them were muslims.
It has nothing to do with hinduism. Hinduism is already misrepresnted and misunderstood by most of the world. If you are Indian, at least dont do this.

I am not so sure about the relgious reasons behind it. but the rest of the world is rather excepting on people being happy. they dont have the same phobias of transgenders and homosexuality. everyone accepts thats just the way it is. Americans (as a whole) seem to be the only people with the preconcieved notion that everything is black and white. and everything thats not average is wrong. I mean was it not just a few years ago that plasitc surgery was almost considered the same thing but we accpted that with no problems because it was making women have bigger breasts and smaller stomachs?????
