Good question, and that is exactly why every so often when mankind strays from God's truths due to misunderstanding his will (which is GOOD) --- he sends an emissary (one of which was Jesus) to re-clarify his eternal truths...lets face it, left on our own we develop all kinds of misinterpretations and rituals which are not what he intends, so a divine incarnation is mercifully sent to us to help us get back on track. Many times when Jesus was on earth, even priests and religious scholars would confront Jesus with the old Testament laws and precepts, and Jesus would respond with something like this "verily, verily that was indeed writted in the Old Testament, however I tell you THIS" ...for example a high Priest asked Jesus about a quote in the old testament about how a man must be reborn again before seeing heaven and the priest asked how is this possible, can a man climb back into the womb and come out again? and Jesus explained the true meaning.

God's Word Contained in the Tenach and The New Testament, can Only be understood by the simple and open hearted. That is why its a miracle book.
There was the law Given as 620 comandments.
Now In the New Testament The law is fulfiled by faith in the One who paid for our breaking of the Law . He did that for my sins and and the world. His name in Hebrew is Jeshuah ha Messhiah.
The New testament final statement is that no other book is to be added. Hence sealing the Word of God. The problem is that we deal with an adversary called Lucifer. He deceives people away from his Word,so other religions have added to that and the warning of the New Testament is that whosoever would do so "let him be anathema."

Interesting question.
tes·ta·ment (tst-mnt) KEY
NOUN:
A covenant between humans and God.
cov·e·nant (kv-nnt) KEY
NOUN:
A binding agreement; a compact.
A covenant is an agreement between two or more entities. It could be a treaty between two or more nations. Or it could be a mortgage, offered by a bank, accepted by a "homeowner".
Once the agreement is fulfilled, it is no longer binding. E.g once my mortgage is paid in full, I don't have to send any more payments.
The Old Testament (OT) contained God's promise to Israel to send the world a Savior through the descendents of Abraham.
As a sign that these descendents agreed to God's terms, they would be circumcised.
All of God's promises were fulfilled in Jesus, so the OT was rendered complete when Jesus said "It is finished," and bowing His head, breathed His last.
When Jesus rose from the grave, He established a New Covenant, quite different from the first.
Specific differences include:
No longer a need for sin sacrifices involving the blood of animals, since Jesus serves as an acceptible self-sacrifice, once for all delivered. Heb7:27, 9:28
Other OT laws were also specifically addressed and rescinded, including the prohibition against eating pork and the law of circumcision.
Also disciples are required to believe, repent, confess, be baptized, and continue to live lives worthy of their calling.
Interestingly, disciples then were hated for the very same reasons so many of those who will read this also will hate this: they also called on their generation to repent of their sinful ways.
"And with many other words he solemnly testified and kept on exhorting them, saying, 'Be saved from this perverse generation'."
No contradictions here. Just a misunderstanding.

Not really. Since testament means "covenant." And Hebrews goes on to say that there is no testament without the death of the testator. Also, Romans states that the things which were written aforetime (the Old Testament) were written for our learning. They are all relevant, and not contradictory, seeing as Jesus is the centerpiece of both testaments. It is all a matter of one looking forward and one looking back...

John a million:a million-4 "interior the start became the be conscious, and the be conscious became with God, and the be conscious became God. an identical became interior the start with God. All issues have been made by him; and without him became no longer something made that became made. In him became existence; and the existence became the gentle of adult adult males." The King James Bible is the be attentive to the residing God. It wisely portrays existence from the start until at present and destiny. The prophets spoke and God says that He does no longer something until He tells His prophets first. The predictions of the prophets have all come genuine or are coming genuine. God tells you in His be conscious what guy has been like from the start and what guy will do even interior the latter days. purely God can tell the destiny. no longer the devil nor his demons comprehend something greater beneficial than what they have discovered from God. thrice Christ advised devil "it is Written" and thrice devil sponsored down. Even devil is familiar with the be attentive to God is efficient and genuine.

I don't think the name of the New Testament, is actually in the New Testament. It's obvious that people put a name on a collection of books, that spell out Jesus's 'Last Will, and Testament'. Get it? He died, he was ressurected, and then he left. That's eternal. We may not be so fortunate.

Go read the Letter to the Hebrews. I think you'll find many helpful things there. Also, St. Paul states that the old Law was "added because of our transgressions." The old Law was NOT MEANT TO BE PERMANENT. Because it is not permanent, it is mutable. Therefore, the New Testament does not render God a liar, or whatever else you want to call him.
