i think it would be fine...but dont go too far out of your league...unless you really love the person and they love you too...

I think it's alright for a 12 year old guy to ask a 14 years old girl out because it's not that much different in age differnece.

12 and 14 year old kids are too young to date. There is plenty of time for that later. Enjoy your childhood because being an adult is not all wine and roses, believe me!

I'm not sure about this; girls mature quicker than guys anyway, and 14 from what I remember is worlds away from 12. I guess it depends on the individuals; their level of maturity, experience, etc.

I'm guessing she would be interested in guys her own age, you see 6th graders usually don't date 8th graders. But if she'll go for it, hey, looks like you will be popular amung your friends.

personally i think that it is ok as long as the girl is ok with it. if you don't really know her then you might want to wait a little longer before making your first move
