I know that in the MD, DC area, there is one called freecycle.com. There is also something called the needs network. Try them, they might be able to help you out.

My first recommendation is freecycle.com for a local chapter as suggested by others. If there isn't a chapter in your area,. I'm sure you can start a chapter in your area which would be beneficial for your goal.
My other suggestion is to use a search engine [likeYahoo + Google, etc.] to locate "for free" sites.
Also, check national education/daycare organizations.

Hi,
There is an organization called freecycle. You can post/donate things through their site. All you have to do is go to freecycle.org and then click your country, state, city etc and read the rules etc to sign up. I have gotten some great things for my home daycare and have also gotten rid of stuff as the kids have gotten older too.

go to http://www.freecycle.org/
Freecycle is a place where ppl can go to get rid of things they don't need anymore, but that others can still use.
Good luck!
