Try what is known as a hard shut down, unplug your computer, wait a min. and plug back in. put 98 windows disc in tray and hit start it should load program. I had to do this to load program after installing a new modem. From one Blondie to another, hope this works for you, good luck.

Take soap and water and very easily wipe around the disk under it. Dry it completely before you put it back. IF not Whoops u need to buy a new disc or buy those Cd scratch repairs.

Your hair-dye may not be compatible with the Windows version you're trying to reload. Try to change either the hair color or the Wndow version. That should hopefully work.

I had a problem loading the cd to reboot my computer and i called the company and they told me to clean the disk. I felt pretty stupid but they were right. I would do that or go to my computer and thengo to the cd drive or drive (d:) and search around. Also, have you tried restarting the computer?
