I really don't think there is such a thing, "Typical American".
Not like one might describe a typical Italian, Pole, Russian, etc, etc., although there are many differences even among those.

WE are all so mixed in culture, with mixed bloods.
Certainly religion can't be included.
The only Typical American, "WAS" the American Indian. No mixed blood there, unless it went back in centuries. Not any longer. Typical looks also. you might find it interesting to visit a reservation some time. There are some pretty typical Indians there. Be prepared to feel some sadness, tho. Go to Dakotas sometime.
I would say, pure and simply, Typical America=Diversity.

I don't know! I am an American, but I don't now if I'm typical or atypical!!! I am not fat nor lazy. I work my a$$ off, and after work I work my a$$ off at the gym and the dance studio. I am extremely fit and I make a lot of money - but that is because I worked my a$$ off in college so that I could do something exceptional with my life and be able to retire at an early age and enjoy life. Thankfully those attributes have been instiled in my own children.
