-when EVERYTHING the parent does revolves around the child
-the child is ALL the parent talks about

Good question. Some signs that make me think a kid is "spoiled rotten" are
1. When he or she doesn't understand the concept of "delayed gratification" and insist that their demands be met immediately.
2. When they have disregard for others feelings and the situations around them.
3. When they receive gifts and special favors given in kindness and have the attitude that it is somehow their divine right to receive such or are ungrateful and unkind to the giver.
Of course, these ideas wouldn't apply to very young children who have not yet developed the capacity for reasoned speech.

A narcissistic sense of entitlement. There is a difference in children who just want their way. Spoiled rotten children absolutely will accept NO other way except their own.

Someone that looks down upon others, one who has mommy or daddy buy them a BMW, Mercedes, never shops at Walmart, even for Makeup. Always get your way, whine if you don't. I don't get along with people like that. The only reason they are happy is because they have daddys money. Never told no. Cry Baby. My neices do that at 4 yrs old. They just cry really loud until they get what they want. And whats bad is they get away with it. I just look at them and cry right back, showing them how ridiculous they look.

They have a fit when you say "no".
You may think that they are leaders but they are really just bossing the other kids around.
The parent always gives in to what the child wants
They have more "things" than the normal child.

Kids who when it comes time to listen to and respect an adult, they don't and their parents don't do or say much to enforce the rules. Kids who have no respect and throw and tantrum and just get whatever they want because they can walk all over their parents.

When they don't take no for an answer. They try to make deals with you to sway your decision. They scream and shout to get your attention. The worst one is the sad puppy look and the pout. It can melt the strongest heart.

Disrespectful, rude, has the "ALL MINE" mentality and is usually followed by one or two parents or family members making excuses for their bad behavior instead of correcting them and showing them the right way...
