Would we have hindered our image or helped some of the lost souls seeking truthful answers to their questions? Yes there are those perverts, ect....which try our nerves and bash our beliefs, but I see an awful lot of bashing on the Christian side of this fence. The plank in my eye has not blinded me to the real world and the bashing coming our way from atheist, homosexuals, witches, etc...is just what God's word says will happen, but we in turn do not fight hate with hate. Love does concure all. I include myself because I really have to stop and think what I want to say to some of these folks, or what would GOD have me say. Peace and Love brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus. We are on the road to victory!

I am Buddhist and I try not to 'bash' your god. I often criticise some of the answers that you 'christians' put up, but you must admit, some of them are pretty stupid. Either that or they just regurgitate tracts from the bible. (Welcome back Mainworry, I was getting concerned)

You are right though, this is the best comment from a christian that I have seen so far on this site.

We are all entitled to our own beliefs and as long as they are not rammed down my throat or used as a weapon to attack my beliefs, I am happy. Some however feel the need to do this and that annoys me (this happens on both sides) See kaguraofthe wind's reply. It's pointless , meaningless and just plain offensive. A total waste of time.

Perhaps you just might consider that God preaches LOVE...in your haste to condemn all those about you who believe differently than you, you judge and condemn to hell! Don't you every have problems with your actions so contricidictory to your bible, "Judge not lest ye be judged?" Do you find it so convenient to disobey God's laws with your exceptions made daily? If God were to return to Earth today, I am afraid, that by the wording of your question, you would not fair well in that judgement. I have met very few true Christians in my life....but I have met a lot of those claiming to be, filled with Pride of how righteous they are...and I believe that Pride is one of the Seven Deadly Sins. Think carefully about what you ask and how you ask in the future If you were truely a good Christian, there would be no accusations in your question...By typing your question, you have certainl offended God. Sorry for the bluntness, and I am quite sure you will have no understanding of my answer.

thats your belief and from what you were brought up with ..maybe you outta ask the goverment why they got rid of the 10 commandments in all the federal buildings cause did that make thier working conditions unbearable. And the labeling of other humane beings man I dont know of a disciminating god ..think you should of stayed in school instead of praying for wisdom...get outta here

We are saved by the grace and mercy of God. We only have to recognize who He is and accept the gift of mercy. Jesus died on the cross so I do not have to die. I want to be with Him forever. I know that I am in the winning team and I want to take as many people with me as possible.

I have become all things to people of all sorts, that I might by all means save some.

Paul was saying that he puts himself in the shoes of those to whom he preaches, and bases his preaching at the place of understanding of the one to whom he is speaking, in order to have a foundation on which to speak.

For example, if you start talking about the internal parts of the space shuttle to a veterinarian, there will be no common interest, or foundation on which to build.

So be conscious of your audience, their viewpoint and proceed lovingly, prayerfully and empathetically. May God bless your efforts.
