google ministry of tourism, Ontario. That should help.

Wasaga Beach is growing fast there are hotels, and cottages you can rent by the month, cottages are cheaper, last I heard.

but summer is peak season, you'll pay quite abit no matter where you stay.

Towns close to Wasaga Beach, where you could find cheaper accommodations, Midland, Ontario is 45 mins drive further north, Collingwood, Ontario is about 20 mins away.

Good luck and have fun.

my ex-husband is out there and i can tell you from experience that the hotels are a rip off and the motels are gross . i always go with the camping route , or rent a cottage , it is about $300.00 for a weekend , but it is worth it . out there the expensive stuff is the beer , or drinks . and a bikini cost me $127.00 ! the weed is cheap and pretty good as well . good luck !
