My cousin is about to lose one of her front teeth. Her gums look kind of swollen, though, and my mom says that they've changed color a bit, like darkened... Is this just normal or should we probably go see a dentist?

Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

My cousin is six years old and she's visiting the USA from Korea for a while. It's been like...two weeks maybe?

no, she needs to see a dentist. none of that is normal. it sounds like she has severe periodontal disease.what she does not realize is that she is about to lose ALL or her teeth. get her to the dentist pronto.

I recently lost my front teeth and my gums got a little redder before I lost them. It happened little by little so I didn't really notice it til my teeth were really loose. If it isn't a baby tooth she should probly get to a dentist quick before she looses them all.

Oil swishing can save her teeth. Swish sunflower seed oil between teeth for five minutes and spit it out. Repeat this three or four times a day.

You don't mention whether your cousin is a child or an adult, regardless she should be seen by a dentist.
