I'm at a crack house that is being held up. I know of a gun that the crack whore keeps under her bed. It's not registered and has been used in numerous crimes. I get the gun and shoot the robber dead. This happens in Chicago where handguns are illegal. What are my chances of seeing the light of day again or do the cops just say, go and sin no more?

Hum.. ok I pondered it. hehe

I'm not sure because of course you have a right to defend yourself but I'm wondering what their 'normal' punishment is for gun use when guns are banned. All the other stuff should be irrelevant.

wipe the gun clean of your prints then give it back to the whore to deal with, then before the police get there wash your hands real good with Clorox bleach and hope this gets the powder residue of of your skin. if this doesn't work according to plan than you are screwed .

It is somewhat doubtful that you will walk out of a homicide unscathed, given your location, and the unregistered gun. It will be your word against someone else's. I hope you have a good lawyer, you're gonna need it.

first of all what were you doing in a crack house but i think that if it was self defense you should be fine since the gun wasn't yours.
