yes but its bad for your hair. So if you want to make your hair blonder you can buy stuff called Sun In in the hair die section. you spray that in your wet hair then you sit in the sun. it works too and its better than lemons.

The acidity makes your hair dried out and it will break.
"Q. Can you make your hair lighter by using lemon juice?
A. Not exactly, Lemon juice by itself will not lighten the hair. Lemon juice AND the ultraviolet rays of the sun will lighten your hair. (Similar to a product called "Sun-In" ) The drawback here is dryness and if your is dark to begin with, it will turn orangutan orange! This job is better done by a professional. I also would like to suggest a "Weave". The weave (unlike the allover color) will not show such an extreme outgrowth line (dark roots). If you are already a dark blonde or very light brown you can probably use the lemon juice and sun method. Be sure to buy a really good "conditioning pac" for after. Also the lemon, sun method needs about 5 hours in the sun. (Not good for the skin so wear sun block!)"

Hello: When I was a child my mother used to rinse my hair with chamomile water [like it a cold tea] and when I was outside and the sun was bright my hair looked more blond. About the lemon I never used before so I can't tell you if it work or not. I hope to hear from you soon and my best blessings to you.

Yes, but it has its cons. It makes your hair feel and look (shinewise) terrible. The acid in the juice does lighten hair a bit, but to open up the cuticle so your hair can receive sunlight--put camomile tea in your hair. Just put it in a spray bottle and spritz before a day out in the sun.

Yes, but I advise not to use 100% lemon juice, try adding it to your conditioner or if you want to go out in the sun with it, dillute it with water. Your hair will get lighter either way

Yes, it is a recognized natural treatment. However, as the site recommends, go out in the sun so that it can take effect. There are also some other ways to lighten up your hair naturally on the site.

yes i tried it once. u get pieces of hair and run lemon juice through it like you would highlights and sit in sun. the acid will make it lighter but it will also ruin your hair. i did it but i regreted it. it took a whole for my hair to be healthy again, but it did look cute while it lasted. it will only last a couple weeks

Yes, my sister used to do that in the summer and she was already blond. Just buy some of that stuff that you can spray on your hair and go play in the sun to bleach it. Comes with directions and everything.
