they close their menu. What bout for morning you tell them for breakfeast they are having cereal and they say they are not hungry beacause they want home cooked meals every morning.

let them go hungry. they can eat what you tell them or not eat at all. my lillte brother gave my dad a hard time about eating a tocao one time, my dad said that after he ate the tacao he could have some thing else, he went almost 2 days before he ate the tacao but he ate it when he got hungry enuff.

I can sort of understand the breakfast thing. Let's face it, when you want something warm in your tummy, you want something warm. If this is an occasional thing, then thats fine. But if it is everyday that they demand "real food" then it simply must stop. That is simply not realistic, especially when they get older and are lucky to be able to grab a pop tart on the way out. As far as the restaurant thing, the kid was angry because he had to order from the kids menu? I always thought the kids menu had the best stuff.

well from the way i see it, i think u should be happy that your kids want home cooked meals. that way you could get them to start eating healthy from a young age, it is quite rare that kids refuse "junk"..use it to your advantage. and when u go to restaurants explain to them that u didn't want to cook tonight but the meals at the restaurant are "home cooked" might work..worth a try
