That is enough protein, but you may consider healthier choices like soy milk (no cholesterol or saturated fat) instead of cow milk, turkey instead of ham, low-fat cheese instead of whole cheese and a spirutein shake instead of slim-fast which is loaded with sugar, high fructose corn syrup and unpronounceable additives.

Depends...you dont provide your age, weight, or type of workout.
For my workouts on the weights, I usually take a small glass of milk/protein shake which is a lot better than slim-fast. I also drink one following my work outs. About 30 min to 60 min prior to working out I also take creatine and L-Glutamine to enhance muscle building.
I would say that the 8g is a start, but if you are like me, that's roughly 1/3 of your daily intake. I supplement my protein with protein tablets also to ensure I am not tearing down muscle.
I would suggest reading Muscle and Fitness to get some ideas on supplements and dietary needs for YOUR size. Rushing to get the protein in your system and being short the rest of the few days is not a good way to eat or build muscle.

If your attemtping to lose weight and build muscle. Your best bet is to eat 6 small meals a day, which aids in keeping your metabolism high, which in return burns fat.
No pop, or sugary drinks. Water is the best thing for ya. And cold water also raises your metabolism like 10% more than norm.
And I would wait like 30 min. before you workout after you eat. And eat something really high in protein after you workout, because thats when your building muscle is afterwards. Also wait like 15 min. after too.
My husband is a health nut. He has taught me well. And exercise at least 5 days a week. Esp. some cardio workouts and weights. HTH

no you need a little more than that. A good amount of protein would be to take in 1 gram of protein for every pound of body weight. I weigh about 155 lbs. so i try to take in about 155 grams of protein. It is kind of hard to do though, you should get a protein powder to mix with the milk you drink. The best kind of protein is either whey or from red meat such as beef. But red meat is also the worst meat for you. And drink a lot of water with this kind of diet because it is not good for your organs (either liver or kidneys, im not sure which one)!!! i hope you find this helpful.

probably, but i hear that slim fast is actually kind of bad for you-if you make it a habbit. diet and excersise is the best way to stay healthy. there is lots of protien in most kinds of beans-they are very good for you and high in fiber and in peanut butter-just dont eat a lot- it is fatty... eggs are a good source of protien, too. just dont eat too many
