MS Word is a software that comes with the package software of MS Office. If you can buy MS Office then you'll have MS Word in it. If you don't want to buy one then you can try using OpenOffice.org, it is a similar software but totally free, you'll have the most frequently needed fuctionalities within this software same as MS Office. You can download OpenOffice here >> http://download.openoffice.org/2.0.2/index.html, Another similar software that contains such editing software as word is StarOffice provided by Sun, but you'll have to pay if you want to use. Choose the one you need.

If you want a free Microsoft Word replacement, download Open Office from http://www.openoffice.org.

It functions almost exactly the same as Word, it's free and it can save in the .doc format, so other people with Word can read and open your documents with no trouble.

Open Office also has a free version of Excel and Powerpoint, I believe.

Depending on how long you will need it (and the speed of your internet connection) you can download a free trial of Microsoft Office 2007 from this web-site --> http://office.microsoft.com/search/redir.aspx?AssetID=XT101323991033&Origin=HH100676231033&CTT=5

You can also download a trial of Office 2003 here --> http://www.microsoft.com/office/editions/prodinfo/standardtrial.mspx

They are 30 day trials. Give it a shot!

Thanks,

Trace
