There is a different kind of CD where you can install it to multiple, but limited, number of computers so you might not be able to use the registration code again once you activate it on one computer.

I would just call Microsoft and tell them to give you the option to allow that code to be used on different computers because you didnt know about it.

Just call Microsoft. Tell them you activated it on one of your computers and you used the code. Telll them that your computer is no longer working and that you bought a different computer and ask them to give you another registration code. They will allow it.

Nope. Pay $200 more.

In general, Microsoft is not in the FREEBIE business. But let's say that you DO THE MATH.

When you buy a DELL for $395, that is the motherboard, worth $100, the video card, worth another $100, the hard drive, worth $100, the CD Burner, worth $50, the powersuppy and case, another $50... That is already $400, about $5 more than you PAID.

What the heck do you think that Michael Dell paid Bill Gates for the software that IS included? OH, DELL will even sell you the RESTORE DISK for about $50 extra.

So why on earth would anyone buy parts to BUILD a computer? Yes, you can configure an awesome DELL for just about $800 with a really great Flat Panel monitor. DO DA MATH, the software is FREE if you buy it already made.

definite, quite. once you reinstall a domicile windows operating gadget the first element it needs to do is to sparkling off the former one, reformat the stress and remove each thing. So again up your archives first and positioned on the felony version. obviously you may also take the serial huge type from the felony version and make your put in unlawful version felony. because that they are both XP domicile variations it would not remember which unique installation CD you take advantage of. in case you replace it to service p.c.. 2 then that's going to be a similar operating gadget.
