Let him go barefoot. Even if he wants to go outside barefoot, let him. Warn him that his feet might hurt. If he still choses to go barefoot, don't "rescue" him. Let him bear the natural consequence of his choice. He won't die. But, again, indoors, please, who cares?

Wait til he steps on some shattered glass. Gets stitches and a shot in the foot. Then he will want to wear shoes all the time.

or you could make him wear shoes to leave the house

dude, I was looking at your other questions... get over it. the kid liks to go barefoot and wear sandals... it's not a big ******* deal. Unless your feet are so disgusting the guys from Fear Factor don't want to go near them, it's fine to wear sandals or go barefoot.

well I don't know how old your son is but when my son was little I pulled his sock up put tape around his ankle then folded the sock over the tape
