Some icewines can be inexpensive, but look for a late harvest wine instead. It really depends on what you're serving for dessert because you don't want the wine to overpower the food. You could even try a port or a sherry.

Port wine is sweet, not dry. A very good dessert wine. My husband is an expert on wine and he says the Portuguese Ports are excellent. Also, we have had Ice wines and they are very good too. Both of these wines are expensive but, worth it. I'm not much of a wine drinker (not a drinker at all) but, I do like a nice sweet Portuguese Port. I prefer that even to the Ice Wines. There are also some very good sweet Sherrys.

Spanish sherries can be very nice in the $10 neighborhood. I like amontillado with dessert because it's not too sweet itself.
On the other hand, I've never had a cheap port that was worth drinking. 10 year tawny is the lower limit.

Nehalem Bay Winery has a Blackberry wine that is good. They also have a good sweet red grape wine. They are priced in the $20-30 range.

Ports are always great as dessert wines. You'd have to go to the store and check out the prices yourself though.

Muskat of Alexander. Ummm also there is a winery near where my parents live that has wines made with honey. Those are delicious. OR I would say try a fruit flavored wine.
