it was my besties 18th the other night and everyone there was really really drunk when me and my boy turned up. i walked out the back and one of her mates sam started cracking onto me massively even though h knows i have a boyfriend. my boyfriend daniel went rank and completely went off at him. i told him it was nothing... is he over reacting or just being protective???

I'd have to say he's being protective in this case. If everyone happened to be really drunk as you said and you and your BF were not. He was doing the only thing he knew how to prevent a situation from escalating into something potentially dangerous to you. Just give him a hug and a kiss and tell him thank you for looking out for you. I could only say he was over reacting if Sam were sober and joking around with you and your BF heard the conversation and went off even after knowing Sam was just jesting then it would be over reaction on the BF's part.
