I'm in the military and I want to work overseas for a little while and then settle somewhere in the states. Cali, DC area, and any other high area is out the question. Looking more towards down south and the midwest.

i recently moved to suburban nashville and, somewhat to my surprise, i love it here. the people are super friendly, housing is still affordable, and the city is really booming. if you don't mind dealing with some rednecks now and then (no offense to anyone), check it out.
