Did you go to the manufacturer's website? Many of them now offer consumers to download owner's manuals usually in pdf format. Or try ebay to find an older manual. Otherwise, try to find some message boards for electronics and search for your codes there in case this forum does not provide a good answer.

I bought one of those universal remotes that control the tv, stereo, dvd, vcr. Not all universal remotes can control all different name brands. Each brand has a 2 or three digit code for the remote when you are programming each component. Make sure your remote is compatible. I'm hoping this is why you asked the question. Go to the store where you bought the remote and find out if you are not sure or cannot find the Nakamichi name brand on the list of codes that came with your universal remote. Good luck.
