Is anyone else going through this painful experience at this age? Are all men players or are there any honest ones left?

No, I don't believe all men are players. I know I'm not and I'm 54. I believe in the courting and seeing where the relationship will lead before making a commitment to a lady and hope, she'd do the same. I wish you luck in you endeavor and keep your chin up !!!

All the ones that I had as lovers/boyfriends were players.
I have not had sex or a date in ten years. I am 53.
Yes, it is a very painful experience. No fun at all.
If I were to start with men again I would try eHarmony.com
since at least you can get an idea of what men might share your interests.
Now men want women with money.
I am definitely bitter and with good reason.
My emotions have been through the meat grinder one time too many.

You will need a lot of courage. My advice is to see where a man lives right away, as soon as you meet him and might be interested in him. Make sure he lives alone. No roomates or anyone living with him. No problems with kids, ex-wives or old girlfriends. No heavy drinking or drugs of any kind.
And remember too that even if he acts perfect for the first three months he can change into a completely different person once he feels like he HAS you. I have seent his over and over.

Plenty of honest men who are single at 50, it just depends on where you live.
