My legs have scratches and scabs all over them. I am very athletic and I love the outdoors, but I cannot remember getting half of these marks. They look very ugly and I don't know what to do. Is there a medical reason for this? If so, is there a treatment? Does anyone you know have this? It's getting hot out and I want to wear shorts but I am ashamed. Do any over the counter drugs work to make them go away?

Scratches and scabs heal fairly quickly when you use a combination of moisturizer and antibiotic ointment. If you are worried about cuts and scratches becoming permanent scars, you should try Scar Solution from Pfizer. It's from the same makers of Neosporin, but more specific to making your skin look better if there are marks that won't go away.

neosporin on fresh cuts as they heal and there are over the counter meds, I believe something like sclederma, ask your pharmacist for help, they can guide you. See a dermatologist

YOU SHOULD GO TO THE DOCTOR BEFORE YOU PUT ANY OVER THE COUNTER MEDICINE ON THEM BECAUSE IT COULD BE SOMETHING INFECTIOUS AND THAT WOULD MAKE THEM WORSE. MAKE SURE YOU DON'T PICK OR SCRATCH AT THEM AND SEE A DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY.

HOPE THIS HELPS

Aloe vera works on everything and neosporin helps too! You could also use foundation to cover them up

Some type of Vitamin E lotion would help you a lot.
