Since those of us babies who were not breastfed are "not as smart" as the breastfed crew...?

how did I manange to get a degree and am doing well in life? I drank Carnation formula as a baby, and I seem to be doing great as an adult. Nowadays, all the "studies" say the breastfeds are smarter than the formula feds. Is this true, or not? Anecdotal, but, my sister was breastfed, and well...she's a dumbass.

Funny you should bring this up, because my mom had four children, the first two were breast fed, and my brother and I were not. We all have college degrees, so I don't really see the difference.

Brilliant!! Your mis-use (abuse) of statistics is superlative!!

Just because the studies show breastfeeding is beneficial DOES NOT MEAN that ALL formula-fed children are necessarily "less smart" than those who were nursed. Of course, most of the uneducated rabble who read this will fall for your fallacious "logic".

I think that myth is crap too. I think that's just the new thing everyone wants to jump on the bandwagon for, so they could feel superior when it doesn't matter if you were breastfed or not.

I never heard about being breastfed being smarter, but i have heard that those who are breastfed tend to be healthier children.

See if you were truly smart you would not have to ask this question you would know the answer.As in all studies nothing is 100 percent.I was breast fed by the way.

My mom drank and smoke while pregnant with me. I have a 199 IQ and like to drink and smoke myself.
