I'm wondering if anyone has advice or experience would be nice about getting another Pomeranian. We have one who stays inside and we treat him like a little king, but thought it may be better to get him a little indoor friend.

Is this a good idea or a bad one?

He's 1 year old now. He's very lazy -- just sleeps a lot. And eats of course! So maybe some more exercise would be best for him.

Ha ha thanks guys!

Well, we do give him a LOT of attention, but I go to school, my mom works, and my dad doesn't stick around the house so he sleeps all day usually. (:

It would be a good idea to get him more active. I'm sure he'd love a little girlfriend (get one of them fixed though of course -- I'd never be able to sell a puppy <333).

well i think it would be smart to get him a friend! cause if not he will be pretty lonley. unless you hangout with him alot and make sure he's not bored. but it would be a good idea cause then he could be up and running! and not lazy and sleeping!

I have a pomeranian, and I though about getting her a friend to play w/and when other dogs come around she gets really mad, and one time she pooped on my seats in the car, i dont know y but i think it was because she heard the other dogs inside of the house barking at my friends house. She is very territorial too, but if u do get it another pom to play with make sure you give it the same attention as the other one.

It is a very good idea. I have a Pom and they are very sweet and loving. It would be the best thing in the world if you got him a little friend to play with.I see my dog sad everyday before i go to work and he gets sad

some dogs will show aggression to another dog because of jelousy. How old is the dog you have now? If you get another let them meet away from your home at a neutral area like the park

I had a Pom and loved him but he was not very active maybe a friend would make him more active and help keep his weight down.
