It doesn't MAKE you lose weight, but it will certainly speed up your metabolism and you will end up losing some weight - as long as you're not eating donuts or anything for breakfast. It's not good to skip meals b/c it slows your metabolism down...you typically end up gaining weight. Plus, breakfast really is the most important meal of the day - it prepares both your brain and body for the day to come...

The best thing to do is have a large breakfast, a moderate lunch and a small dinner with snacks in between each meal. This way your body has a lot of fuel to jump start it for the day. The food you eat for breakfast gets burned off throughout the day making you lose weight. You will also feel more alert and be able to think better throughout the day because breakfast gives you a lot of energy!

You won't see a dramatic weight loss. But a study was conducted splitting people into two groups. They fed both groups the same amount of calories, the only difference between the two groups was that on got breakfast and the other did not. They saw that the group that ate breakfast lost weight quicker than the group that skipped breakfast.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.
The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.
Get started today!

When you skip meals, your body has a tendancy to store fat because it thinks it is starving and that is it's natural defense.
If you skip breakfast, you are likely to be hungrier than normal.
People do not understand what makes one fat, it's not eating and it's not what we eat, it's how much we eat.
You aren't supposed to eat until you get full. You just eat enough to make yourself comfortable and to give your body the needed fuel and carbs that it needs. Drink plenty of water and excercise and you will be just fine.
So start eating breakfast.

Yes, it is considered bad. You wouldn't start a car up and drive it with no gas, right? Well same is for your body. When you wake up, your system is empty, and needs fuel for you to preform your best. Also breakfast stimulates your metabolism (as long as its not doughnuts or whatnot). If you are picky about eating in the mornning like I am, try a yougurt, or a granola bar, just get something in there.

Eating breakfast doesn't make you lose weight - it will help you to not eat so much later in the day. It will jump start your metabolism to help you burn more calories the rest of the day.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. To loose weight you are supposed to eat 5 small healthy meals a day. When you skip one meal you'll tend to overeat at the next.

You won't miraculously drop pounds. But eating breakfast helps kick start your metabolism for the day. When your body needs food, and you don't feed it, it goes into starvation mode and starts to store food as fat, thinking you might need it later. If you feed yourself, your body doens't think it needs to store fats, but can process these foods into usable energy that you will burn off during the day. Eating breakfast helps with this... and gets your body going in the morning.

According to the doctor I had growing up and the doctor I now have, it helps you lose weight and keep it off because eating regularly keeps your insulin levels stable. They were both thin.
