A girl I greatly admire at work, and were close to going out ...later decided to put everything on hold. I decided to ask her to join me and another girl I like to watch a soccer game today (i.e. father's day). I wanted her join us because I want a 'sweet girl just like her' but she got the wrong impression (i.e. jealousy). She's really mad at me now. What can I do to alleviate this situation? She said she doesn't like me or have feelings for me after I told her this. But she decided to invite me to hang out with our friends later this week after having a bad argument and partially resolved the issue. How can you honestly help me in this situation?

I think she's either not interested (like she said) or she's disappointed with you, the best thing right now is not try to explain or seem too eager, let the friendship develop and she'll know what kind of person you are and may start to like you

well, I think there are too many gaps in the story that need to be filled in before anyone can give you any kind of advice. Like, did you ever sleep with her or the other girl, what was your reasoning for this or that, do you really like her?
If what I am gathering from the story is correct, I think it's kind of weird to invite a girl you like out with another girl. I am sure this was a huge turn off to her as it would be to me. If a guy asked me that my first impression would be 'yuck, are you serious dude? because you are obviously not serious about me'.
and the fact that now you want to "alleviate" the situation and assuming she is "jealous" screams to me that you have an over-inflated ego. Maybe you should take a slice of humble pie and be a bit more afraid of girls being turned off by you when you act out in the future.

she prolly thought it was just you and her, but saw that there was another female brought into the picture...she was prolly hurt most of all. if i liked a guy and he liked me and did the same thing, id think that he didnt like me that way anymore and wanted to show off a new girl in his life. if you really like each other, youll have to talk to her and explain to her why there was another girl along...if you already havent. next time....make it just the 2 of you!!!

ummm try inviting the girl you like to go hang out with the other girl and her friends! just try and be her friend is the best way to go she'll come around

just tell her that yyou didn't mean it anymore and if she doesnt believe you then say if you were really my friend then you would believe me that i didn't mean it that way.
