Well since you siad kitten im guessing shes around 8weeks old and new to your houshold-she probly misses her mother and is calling for her,you should give her extra lovings and traets now and then-give a cat stuffed animal and let her sleep wit it{imitation of her mother at night},give her lots of toys to keep her occupide and her mind off it-and after all this if she is still meowing take her to the vet...she may have worms or somthig stuck in her dijestive track or maby a desies-a few sighns are pucking-diarea-uncrottrolable-high amount of gas or slowness in movment then take her to the vet ASAP!

Im sure its nothing too major, and try the first things i sujested first becouse that is most likely the problem~a few other things to check is
~litter box-is it clean or over used, kittens tend not to go if it it too messy so make sure you clean it regulary-even if it means every day......a good rle to go by is the 4 poop rule-after 4 poops change it out P-1 O-2 O-3P-4=change it!

~Diet-is you cat drinking at leat 4 cups a day?if not then she might be dehydrate-dehydration can be a life threating thing so you should start monerting how much she drinks-you can put a little calender were ever you keep her water bowl and each time she drinks a cup put a tally on that day-after 4 cups put an x on the day!Food-are you feeding her wet food?the food is very important to a healthy cat-if to much then a tummy ache bad or light!may cause meowing-if not enough then emptyand that will cause pain and meowing! And dont forget she may not have been tottly weened yet!
Good luck

I think as long as it is healthy, fed, watered, and petted plenty, the kitten may just be going through a noisy phase. Depending on whether it was taken away from its mother very recently it could be calling for its mother. I would make an effort to pet the kitten as much as possible, hold it on your lap, and spoil it rotten. They turn out very sweet if they are loved that way anyway. At the worst you could just have a vocal cat. I have one who meows at odd times like when I am on the phone with my Sweetheart. I guess he figures if I am sweet talking then I need to be talking to him instead of my Lady...lol

kittens when separated from their mothers from a very young age will cry for her almost constantly..Your kitten is scared and looking for comfort and the best thing to do is make a warm ,small cozy place for her and give her a lot of love and attention :-)

once I introduced domicile my kitten, she meowed constantly. i think of all new cats do. you purely would desire to undergo it for some days and he would desire to offer up as quickly as he gets used to you and his atmosphere.

I think you should spend more time with it (him) (her)???
Do you keep it in a big cage, room, or closed in area if so try letting it out of that space. if you have other pets put them away .
