Just because they are illegal they should be set aside and not be able to particiapte in our Armed Forces, or any other institution every other AMERICAN has to be apart of? Just like they get free health care, and so on and so forth??? Where do we make it stop? When is enough, ENOUGH??

Bush doesn't send those illegals to Iraq because it isn't necessary. Bush should send them all back to where they belong. They are selfish criminals. They don't belong here in the first place.

Just last week on TV it showed a gentleman of Mexican descent who had just returned from Iraq getting sworn to be a citizen here in Phoenix, after a year in the Armed Services you are eligible to do so.When I was in the Army in the 60's this was not uncommon.Since most of the media only shows the negative and not the positive,I can see why views can be twisted.I have worked with many Hispanic Vets over the years.interesting fact:I never see Hispanics with a cardboard sign looking for a free ride.PS I am a white guy ,no bias!!

It's called cruel and unusual punishment.

They can however, join on their own and are eligible to file for citizenship ONE THE FIRST DAY of active duty anywhere they are.

And many, many are. The ones that want to be American, without changing down the road, have my moral support. But we can't take everyone that wants to come until us that are here can do better. And further, I don't believe that for each that serves and becomes American can take 20 of their relatives up here with them. That is wrong.

I WANT MY CONGRESSMEN TO TELL US WHERE IN OUR COMMUNITIES THERE IS A SHORTAGE OF UNSKILLED LABOR SO AMERICANS CAN GET THOSE JOBS FIRST.

Do you know where in your community? No? THEN HOW DO THE ILLEGALS KNOW!!

lol, you have such an apttitude for insanity. Keep believing yourself.

They aren't part of the country -- they are considered criminals since they are here illegally. We can't force people from another country to fight for us -- even if they are here by breaking our laws.

You must be a US citizen to serve in the armed forces. So then we would have to make them citizens. So this is what you want?

I don't think you would want them to do that , Iraq might offer them more money to fight for them
