I would like to take a poll to see what people like to listen to when they work out and/or run. Are there any popular artists or genres that are best for work outs?

I'm a street or trail runner. On my mp3 player I have the following artists on my running playlist (a Nike mp3, not an iPod):
Funkadelic
John Coltrane (Epistrophe)
Ying Yang Twins
Kanye West
Black Eyed Peas
Lil Kim
Prince
Bob Marley (for cooling down)
Alliyah
Foxy Brown
Arrested Development (remember them?!)

I listen to something catchy when doing exercises if I can...and another alternative is to do some self improvement courses...or listen to ebooks....

I usually mix it up so I don't get burnt out on any one artist. But as long as it has a fast tempo it works for me.

THE FAINT!!!! Not many ppl have heard of them but they are AWESOME :-D Thats who I listen to :-) Sometimes Smash Mouth too :-) I listen to stuff I can walk to the beat with :-) Something fast but not too fast :-)
Techno, like someone else mentioned, is GREAT too :-D
