This is for females but any reply is welcome. and i always give the best honest answer 10 points after 24 hours posted.
You have a boyfriend and your happy, You go for a walk and see a extremely ugly man lying on the ground who requires CPR which means you will have to put your mouth on his to try and save his life. no one else is around and if you dont at least try he is sure to die. Do you try or walk away?

just so you know. I wrote this question for a few reasons. 1. I admit I was bored and 2. because I wanted or rather needed to see human kindness. 3. because on a personal level I have seen just his happen.

I am CPR certified and I carry a face mask with me on my key chain at all times. I feel like since I am certified I am obligated to help someone who needs help. If I didn't have my mask with me I would still help. Catching something from someone through saliva isn't very common. If they had open sores on their mouth I would try and find something to protect myself with. The ugly part of the question plays no role for me. A human being is still a human being no matter what they look like.
If I had a boyfriend with me that would be all the better because I would send him to call 911.

At least call 911. If you see someone in need and just walk away, you can be arrested in some places. Even if not illegal, it is, to me, VERY immoral to leave someone to die- no matter how ugly.
1. Why doesn't your boyfrind know CPR?
2. Why are you relating mouth-to-mouth with kissing? Rescue breathing is a lifesaving skill, not a dating issue. If your boyfriend is bothered by this, he is too shallow to live.
3. You can buy cheap and effective face masks to minimize risks with rescue breathing, or you can use other materials as a quick barrier. Plastic with a hole in the middle, even a piece of paper can help.
4. OK, he's ugly, but he may be incredibly rich or have a lot of influence, or be able to reward you in some way. It sounds very superficial and judgemental to base your desire to help others only on their physical appeal.
5. Karma. What goes around comes around. Treat others as you would be treated. Ignore this poor schmuck, and maybe someone will ignore you in your hour of need some day.
Bottom line- DO SOMETHING!

Ugly has nothing to do with Saving. Two opposites here. If you have to worry rather someone is ugly or not in an attempt to save a life, close your eyes and save the person. Life is precious and should always be taken serious. One who knows from experience. :)

What?!! You are going to let a boyfriend situation stop you from saving ME. No way.
I would save you.
CPR is not sexual. Believe me. If I'm passed out on the ground the last thing I'm thinking is....I hope a hott girl comes around and puts her mouth on me. I'm hoping anyone...that includes a 300lbs. dude would come and help me out.

Try CPR. Just because he's ugly doesn't mean he doesn't deserve to live. I'm sure he's beautiful to someone, and knowing that I helped save his life would make me feel really good.

Giving someone CPR is a must but only if you know how, it doesnt matter if he is ugly hes a person and in the end that is all that really counts

Life is so secrete and should be saved if possible. Whether it be a homeless person or a wealthy person, all have the right to live. If anyone feels different then, I have one question for them. Who the hell are you to say how lives and who dies ??? As a fellow human being, I'd help anyone to live, if it's within my power !!!!

well...I would give him CPR...it would be wrong not to...I mean saving some ones life if a good thing..and if you didn't you would be a bad person no matter how ugly they are
