Everything at a Dealership is negotiable. You did not realize it, but you were negotiating with the Finance Manager.

$1215.00 for a 7yr/100,000 Bumper to Bumper warranty is worth it. I used to be a finance manager in a Honda store and that is close to the cost of the warranty.

Make sure of three things:

1. It's a Honda Warranty
2. It's a true $0 deductible, not just under the factory warranty or a dissapearing deduct ($0 at the selling dealer).
3. If it is not a factory warranty I might check with the next closest Honda dealer to see if they have heard of the company at all.

Good luck!

Honda makes an recommendations-blowing vehicle your in undemanding words difficulty will be determining if that is an interference engine and making particular you get the timing belt executed! If it breaks it ought to fee $500-1000 particularly then the $one hundred-2 hundred preventative upkeep of having the timing executed... maximum honda engines are interference... different then that, i'd save the $1300 for wonder upkeep! my 89 civic has exceedingly a lot three hundred,000 miles =] runs reliable i'm interior an same boat as you, figuring out to purchase a $2000 assure on my jeep cheers

If you bought a honda, you will probaly never need the extended warranty, but if you do need it you will have recovered all your money in one trip to the dealer. I have used hondas for many years. I have never had any problems. the reduced price is about right. Hope this helps.

It depends on what the original warranty covered. Have you ever owned a Honda? They last forever and nothing happens in the first $100,000 miles unless it's your fault.

i work for a car dealer and thats a good deal on a warranty for that long he probly didnt make that much off of it and it is a good peace of mind he would have made money if he sold it for the first price

whether this is a good deal or not depends on what the original warranty covers... i paid $1200 to double my original warranty... it's like insurance - you may end up not using it, but if you need it you'll be very, very glad you have it. $1215 sounds reasonable.

Make sure it's a factory warranty extension. It must be a honda warranty.

never buy any extended warantees, they are all a waste of money. But with a Honda, that is even worse, because they never break down
