Am I the only adult who is disturbed by the number of teens and pre-teens using this site to solicit sex? Where are the parents?

Im fourteen and I'm annoyed with it .There are other chatrooms and crap where its all ABOUT sex.Go there and leave places that it has no place in alone.
I would love to go to the pre-teen/teen section on Yahoo!Ask,there are teens and pre teens who actually need help with things,but I can't because I hate filling my head with all the sexual crap thats in there.

When teens get older parents have little control over their decisions also young adults are very computer savey and can easily bypass filters etc. If parents did not develop communication with their growing offspring they will only learn what the young person wants them to learn. Pre-teens are another story, but this is the best time to establish 2 way communication.

The parents don't care about kids these days. Or I should say most do not. I am a mother of 3 boys and screen everything that they do and they know that I love them. It was great when I was a kid and we had no doubt about our parents love and did not have the worries of child predators.

Yes I am, I think parents today are to wrapped up in there life to worry what jr or little mis might be doing!!!!!! I know exactly what my kids are doing on the net, because I WATCH THEM!!!!!!!!!!

Apparently the parents are absent! It is ridiculous how kids act now. No guidance!

I can understand were you are coming from also. I wouldn't approve of my children using the net. They are still very young to use it but I would try and forbid it or at least control their use of it.
