My wife puts a bit of Biosilk Silk Therapy oil on her hair after washing, when her hair is wet, to hold it in place through the next day. It works great, but costs an arm and a leg. She is wondering if there is an alternative product that works well but is less expensive that anyone can recommend.

If you're referring to 'Farouk Systems Biosilk Silk Therapy' or that line of products, Sally's Beauty Supply carries a generic line of it. Am looking at the bottle of silk therapy treatment I bought & it's $4.99/6oz. They carry other generic lines too, including Paul Mitchel. Love that store! Hope this is what you're looking for :o)
