No. Jesus never needed to hide from the Truth..because He is the Truth personified. People who use drugs to mask reality or to escape from it.. are generally people who have been wounded in some way along lifes path.. and are miserable and deprived because they want to be, not because they have to be. Getting a fake "high" is a sign of being a wounded being..not of intelligence or a lack of it. People who look to fake things for relief.. are not looking in the right place.

I know you meant "get" high,& your probably going to offend someone with this but i'm sure thats what your going for, so i'll bite... I don't know, Vino is not illegal, and he was trying to show everyone "the rite path" so i doubt he encouraged illegal drug use.(was it illegal then, i doubt it ) though i must mention speaking for some of my old timer friends, drugs aren't what they used to be i'm sure he missed out on some premium bud.
