Most anything but onions, chocolate, milk, cooked bones (raw are fine) greasy or fatty foods, grapes and raisins, easy on the tomatoes.

Dogs handle most other things well. If you are considering creating his entire diet, there are many recipes on line.

Email me and I will send you the sites, if you are serious.

Why wouldn't you want to feed it dog food? All the nutrients it needs are already in the foo. Do not feed it cat food. Bad for dogs. Table food will make the dog get fat as you have to feed it more to get all the vitamins it needs.

I will not feed my dogs dogfood at all. I feed them the raw all natural diet. It is better for them than the commercially bought dogfood. The dogfood manufacturers are only out for your money, not the care and nutrition of your dog.

.Providing a fresh food diet is economical and promotes a lifetime free from allergies, digestive and skin problems, ear troubles, and tartar-encrusted teeth

Estimate approximately 50% of the dog food diet to consist of raw meat.
Raw food diet means NOT cooked! It is fine to cook it, but cook the dogs food as little as possible until you feel comfortable feeding raw food diet to your dogs. Feed turkey, duck, beef, lamb, or venison. It's OK to serve the same kind of meat for 3 to 4 days, then switch if possible. Steady feeding of the same food can lead to unnecessary hypersensitivities in dogs.
For a balanced raw food diet feed oats because they seem to digest more completely. Cover them with boiling water and let soften for 20 minutes.
Alternatively, give smashed potatoes, noodles, brown rice to the dogs food.
Carrots - Vitamin A, B, C, D, E, G, K, potassium, calcium. I use carrots as the base and add a few others to vary the raw food diet daily.
Parsley - helps with oxygen metabolism, with the adrenal and thyroid glands, healing for the genito-urinary tract.
Celery- Contains organic sodium (maintains fluidity of blood and lymph). Natural diuretic, helpful for arthritis, water retention, urinary problems.

Paprika, Garlic, Watercress, Alfalfa Sprouts, Zucchini, Corn, Apple, Banana, Mango… or whatever your dog likes is always good for a raw food diet.

Add raw yellow and green colored foods to the dogs diet, they are great toxin relievers for the body. Watermelon is one of the best free radical scavengers.

Tofu is a high source of protein

Once a week you can add:
Cheese-cubes, 1 boiled egg, plain yogurt to the dog food

Mix all of the ingredients together in a blender with about 1/2 cup warm water.
A variety of vegetables is important to provide all of the vitamins, minerals, and enzymes required.

Don't give raw Broccoli, Brussels sprouts, Beans, Turnip and Cabbage to the dog food diet, they cause intestinal gas, which you should avoid. Sambal, Onions, Peppers, Tomato, Spinach, and Cucumbers are also to be avoided in the dog food; they don't digest very well.

Unfortunately, dog food is the best thing for dogs to eat. He will eat it when he gets hungry enough. People tend to assign human qualities to dogs, but in all actuality, they need the items found in dog food. People food is not good for dogs, and does not contain the right vitamins, minerals and amino acids. Speak to your vet about alternative diets for your dog. Do NOT feed your dog cat food!

p.s., just because your dog likes a certain type of human food, doesn't mean its good for him. Always talk to your vet.

Here are some things you don't want to feed your dog: chocolate, raisins, grapes, cat food, nothing to drink except water and no bones except cooked soup bones.

I didn't agree with the person(can't remember her name) that said, "don't feed him anything but dog food. If he gets hungry enough, he will eat it." I hate peas, but I guess I would eat them if I got hungry enough too!!

Our dogs eat dog food and also anything we eat. I will never believe that what we eat will eat dogs. Our dogs love all fruit and veggies. They have a more well balanced than most humans do. Yes, we even cut up their meat for them.

If you want your dog to be healthy, then you'll feed it dog food with occasional dog treats. If you want your dog to be fat and unhealthy or to encourage it to beg at the table, steal food from counters and knock over trash cans, then you'll feed it table scraps.

There are lots of things you can add to your dogs diet. my dog likes carrots, pumkin, dried salmon treats, plain yogurt is good for skin and fur, you can also look up RAW diets for dogs, there are quality dog kibbles out there, be careful of foods that have corn as one of the first ingredients listed on the package, corn is used as a filler.

Perhaps cat food. There is more meat in it. But be sure to find out if all the nutritional requirements are in there, first. They may be similar, but cats and dogs aren't identical.

Suppose you can give him beef bones - don't give him chicken bones, cause he could choke.

Dog food is the best for dogs, cause it has all the nutrients a dog needs.
