I can't help you place your kittens but I would like to alert you to a common practice called "bunching". People answer ads for free pets (like kittens, mice, puppies, rabbits) and they pose as nice people sometimes with land and a few kids. They collect "free" pets and then sell them to laboratories once they have enough to make a good profit. They can make fifteen dollars per animal. Sometimes these people steal pets from parked cars, yards, etc. They are also known as class b dealers. Do a websearch about it to inform yourself about how to avoid these people. One idea is to never give a pet away. Set a low price to dissuade these bunchers. Something like a thirty dollar fee,,, if the person taking your pet cannot afford that then they wouldn't make good pet owners anyway. How will they afford food and basic medical care if they can't fork out 30 bucks. Even the humane society doesn't "give" pets away.

Sorry, we have 5 cats and 7 kittens that we are trying to give away. We're in Tucson, but my moms is trying to get herself up your way for the summer - she can't deal with heat here, and loves Idaho. (The rest of the family doesn't). :D

I wish you lived around here. My daughter got a kitten from the shelter and she won't eat. They are heartbroken.
