The shove it in the face method does not work and it stupid!!!!!
If your pup has and accident pick up the waste in a paper towel, take the pup and the paper towel out the door you want the puppy to go to when it needs to go out. Put the pup and the paper towel in the grass have the pup smell it. Pick the pup up,throw paper towel outside and take the puppy in. the puppy will associate the smell on the paper towel with the yard. Keep this up and be consistent

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://bitly.im/aL0iM
A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.

I've had several dogs and I have trained them without potty pads, newspapers, etc. Of course, you have to remember that they will have a few accidents while they are learning. keep them confined to the kitchen or a hard floor so the smell of pee will not deter them during training. Take her outside and place her on the grass. Say "outside"a few times. When she goes, say "good girl!" and be ready to reward her with a dog biscut or a bite size carrot. Keep her on a tight potty schedule so she will learn when to expect to go out.... 7am, 9:30 11, 1, 3:30, 6, 8, 10:30 before bed. After a few days she will get it. (If she pees on the floor, lead her to it and say no several times and point. she will know that it si not good. right after you show her, take her outside and let her pee using the above training.

Dog litter is the way to go! We potty trained our 8 week old puppy in 2 days. 2 days! For more info look it up online. Dog litter is this paper version of cat litter. We bought it at Petco and it works for all sizes of dogs. The odor is low and it was easy. I found out about it on this answers site and I am sooooo glad I did.
Do not shove your puppy's face in it's poop. That is not a postive way to raise your animal.

I had my puppy crate trained in two days. And, by the end of the week he was completely housebroken. I also wasn't sure about the put in the face method.
What I did was keep him crated when we weren't playing or cuddling. When he's out watch him CLOSELY. You want to catch him doing it. When you've caught him tell him firmly 'NO'. Then, immediately take him outside.
REWARD.
REWARD.
REWARD.
Reward him like a crazy mom when he does his potty outside. I took treats in my pocket when he went outside. And, when he did his business I had them handy so he knew exactly what the treat was for.
I was able to tell, after doing this for a few days, when he was going to go potty. And, I was able to avoid accidents. It takes patience. And, if you have it and follow through you'll be fine. And, you wont' have to resort to such drastic measures.

The very best thing you can do is watch your puppy and when you see him start to potty run up to him and say "no no no" and pick him up real fast and put him out on the lawn. He will learn really quick this way.

you have to be on her wave length 24/7 for the first 4 months. Take her out about 20 minutes after she has eaten, and wait. Patience is the key, and then a lot of praise and hugs when she goes. Puppys have very small bladders, so they need to go often. If she makes a mistake it is usually yours, and not hers

Shame on Jimi hen. Different breeds are better with different techniques. Try looking on Google. (The answerall) or call a professional dog trainer. I believe they have special puppy classes, sometimes. They should be able to help you! Good Luck!
BTW_ A rolled up newspaper makes a good spanker. Be gentle. It makes a big noise, but if you are gentle it won't hurt them.

It's not neccesary to rub their noses in it, pitbulls are a very intelligent breed, they are loyal and very active, they need a lot of attention and affection to become perfect adult dogs, and when they are pups it's a good idea to get your puppy onto a schedule, soon he/she will learn that when you take it out it's time to relieve itself.
You might consider researching more online about terriers.
Good luck.

I am sure you would not want your face in your own feces...So on that note being consistent with him about taking him outside and being patient. If you catch him in the act just give him a stern NO taking him outside on the spot. You will have to be extremely patient with him/her. Praise him everytime he does it outside and give him a treat. With time he will understand. BE PATIENT.
