Frizz is not excessive moisture. That is just wet hair :)

Your hair has cuticles, which are kind of like shingles. When these are lying flat, hair will have a smooth, glossy look. When conditions are right (humidity is one) the cuticles will stand up instead of lying flat, which makes the hair shaft rougher. It can also be a result of overstyling and damaging your hair. It's more common and noticeable on people with curly hair, but anyone can have frizz. People just have different textures of hair, some people always have slick hair and a ponytail holder will slide right out, others are always frizzy, no matter what.

Split ends are when the end of the hair shaft separates into two. These can also be caused by damage to the hair or just age. Use a good conditioner and get frequent trims to help prevent them, and if you have them, you can't "fix" them, it's just time to get a haircut!

Split ends are just that - the ends of the hair split apart rather than staying in a cylinder. When they split, the ends "fuzz out" from each other and cause frizz. As they continue to split, your hair breaks off shorter and shorter, so the "frizz" can cover your head, not just at the longest hair length.

Frizz can also be caused by over-curling or over-heating. Rather than lying flat, the hairs fly apart from one another and "frizz". Usually, drier hair will do this worse than oily hair. Very curly hair can "frizz" by each hair curling it's own direction rather than clumps curling together (like sausage curls). The ends fly every which way and look "frizzy".

Frizz is not split ends it is an effect of moisture (including humidity in the air). Split ends are damaged hair. It is possible to have both. The only way to fix split ends is a good hair cut. Frizz can be controlled with really good conditioner.

Split ends are of course damage caused by heat, and or any product that your hair may not agree with. Usually by heat though. To get rid of them you must get a small trim every 6 to 8 weeks. this will help rid them. Also if you blowdry or use any heat on your hair it is best to use a leave in conditioner.

Frizz happens to everyone. This is caused by moisture, especially when you live in a humid climate. there are plenty of products that say they help with frizz. Not all of them work. Try BIO SILK products. They seem to work very well. They have a product that looks clear like water but thick. I can't remember the name but any Beauty salon store can help you find it. Hope this helps

Hi Split ends are where the ends of your hair become split into two making your hair weaker..it's a sign of damage to the hair, but can be fixed by regular trims at the hairstylist
Frizz is when your hair get's all poufy from moisture in the air or from being damaged by excessive coloring or bleaching the hair...usually you see this with pople who have curly/wavy hair it tends to frizz and look poofy and dry..it also happens when you see someone with straight hair or straightened hair when ity doesnot lie flat and doesn't look shiny and smooth...hope this helps

Fizzy ness is untamed curl or natural body. Split ends are the result of not having regular haircuts and maintainence for your hair. You must cut split ends off. Frizz can be controlled with the right products spit ends happen naturally and just need to be cut off.

Frizzy hair usually indicates the hair has been over stretched or stressed there is nothing you can do with that except moisturize and lay the cuticular layer of the hair down smooth usually the best way is with a light mist oil (chi) and a flat Iron(ceramic) and as for the split have them trimmed regularly with your hair straight.

split ends is where the shaft actually split.

frizz can have split ends but it is more a quality of the hair. I use hair dye on my hair and keep it permed. My hair is very dry and brittle. That would be referred to as frizz. Conditioners help me alot but I have to use them all the time to control the frizz.

frizz is usually due to excessive moisture and most often happens to people with curly hair in humid climates. split ends however is from your hair being very damaged and dry and the ends start to seperate from the bottom up until your hair looks like a bunch of ugly dried up tree branches :\ its not pretty.

frizz can happen all over... split ends are at the ends of your hair where you've had breakage, that's why it's best to get a trim every 6-8 weeks.
