Decide which looks better on you, I really don't know because I don't know what you look like.

I have naturally blonde hair and 3 months ago I went brown. Big mistake!! Now it is growing through really fast and I look like I am going bald!!! If you can afford to have it done either by hairdresser or yourself, every 4 weeks then go for if. If not then I seriously wouldn't bother. It is a real hassel. I am now wearing headscarfes until it grows out!!!!!!!!!!!. Good luck.

Strangely enough there is research I heard about the other day to say there is a fear about colorant being linked to cancer as it is absorbed into the body.
I put a colour in mine and have been for years, think it can make a nice snappy look but if you have a nice hair colour to begin then maybe just do it as a once off and not continue to colour it.

Try dyeing it brown but use something that will wash out. I wouldn't do it if I were you, strawberry blond rocks.

well aren't all of us women the same way always thinkin what would I look like with this color hair. Go for it girl curiousty killed the cat. You can always use a hair stripper and it will take you back to your natural hair color if you don't like it and hair stripper is about the same price as hair dye at Wal-Mart. you go girl.let me know what you do I gotta know.

I was in the same situation. I did dye mine brown. It was horrible, mousy,and people told me I looked tired, probably because brown brings your complexion down. Stick to your strawberry blonde. It's sunny and cheerful.

Finding the Right Shade

For the most natural-looking results, the play-it-safe rule is not to go more than two or three shades darker or lighter than your natural hair color. Guidelines;

If your skin is rosy or ruddy, avoid shades with red or orange tones; golden hues, including highlights, are a more flattering choice.

If your skin is fair to medium-beige, you can go warm (shades with gold tones) or cool (look for colors with the words "ash" or "beige" in the name, such as light ash brown).

If your skin is olive or sallow, opt for cool shades, but avoid pale blonds, as they can make you look washed out.

If your skin is dark, rich shades of brown, such as chestnut or chocolate, look gorgeous.

Good luck.

Find a hairdresser with a good reputation and ask them their advise on colouring. I personally think you'd be better colouring your hair bit by bit - not necessarily going brown straightaway.
