Do some people really not get that the Quran teaches its followers to kill all who do not believe as they do and that the Bible does not teach Christains to kill people. We are to live by the new law of the New Testament. Jesus never taught violence towards others.

"Thou shalt go and kill
happy wahhaby because he does not believe as you do."

maybe you should read an entire translation of the Quran so that you would know how peaceful it is. Instead of listening to the media and your preacher.

SEEMS YOU HAVENT READ THE QURAN AND BIBLE.

"On that account: We ordained for the Children of Israel that if any one slew a person - unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land - it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people. Then although there came to them Our apostles with clear signs, yet, even after that, many of them continued to commit excesses in the land. (The Noble Quran, 5:32)"

It is generally thought that the Holy Quran provides the death sentence for those who desert the religion of Islam. There is not the least ground for such a supposition. There is no single verse in the Qur'an that prescribes an earthly punishment for apostasy. Verses about apostasy in the Qur'an speak only about God's punishment of the apostate in the Hereafter.

There is no compulsion in the religion; Truth stands out clear from error; so whoso disbelieves in idols and believes in God, has laid hold of the most firm handle, which cannot break; and God is Hearing, Knowing.
Al-Quran (2:256)

===================

NOW LETS LOOK AT THE BIBLE

It is often believed that the Bible gives absolute religious freedom to everyone. This is not exactly true!

2 Chronicles 15:13 "All who would not seek the LORD, the God of Israel, were to be put to death, whether small or great, man or woman."

Deuteronomy 13:6-9 "If your very own brother, or your son or daughter, or the wife you love, or your closest friend secretly entices you, saying: Let us go and worship other gods (gods that neither you nor your fathers have known, gods of the peoples around you, whether near or far, from one end of the land to the other, or gods of other religions), do not yield to him or listen to him. Show him no pity. Do not spare him or shield him. You must certainly put him to death. Your hand must be the first in putting him to death, and then the hands of all the people."

Also let us look at Deuteronomy 17:3-5 "And he should go and worship other gods and bow down to them or to the sun or the moon or all the army of the heavens, .....and you must stone such one with stones and such one must die."

HOPE THIS ANSWERS.

Very good question! And no I don't think people bother to realize that the Bible is God-inspired and that Jesus wasn't a prophet but God in the flesh, therefore the New Testament is the covenant he came to leave with the Jews and the heathens (all others of the earth) even though the Jews rejected Him to cling to their Old Covenant and the Qu'ran was written by a man who had no inspiration from God. This is not to be offensive, but if it offends, then let the Truth be sought out of what is Truth in God and Spirit as scripture would have us to do and not what is Truth in God and man.

The Quran does NOT teach people to kill others. Have you read it and do you know what you are reading? All ancient texts have literal and figurative translations. Some people choose to interpret everything literally. They are called "fundamentalists." There are both Muslim and Christian fundamentalists.

If you take things literally then what about the Bible saying "An eye for an eye; a tooth for a tooth." Doesn't that mean if someone kills then they should be killed? What about David and Goliath? What about the "Crusades" in which Christian Holy Wars were waged killing Muslims and Jews??? They did this in the name of Jesus and Christianity.

READ THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!

2:256 Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from Error: whoever rejects evil and believes in Allah hath grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold, that never breaks. And Allah heareth and knoweth all things. (Holy Quran)

"Now therefore, kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman who has known man intimately. Numbers 31:17 (New American Standard Bible)

Why do you have to look in the NEW testament anyway? Try finding out what the OLD testament says... Its is the replica of the Koran! Now find out why there has been a NEW testament. Won't go further about that as your question is innacurate.

The Quran wins, since you seem to be a shameless liar sirr..

You said, the Bible does not teach Christians to kill people, and that is a wrong statement there, and absolutely contradicts the teachings of Christ, as he said in his own words according to your Bibles in Matthew 5:17-18-19, that He DID NOT COME TO DESTROY ANY OF THE OLD COMMANDMENTS, and then He continues saying: "Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments [like most Christians are today], and shall teach men so [like Paul], he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

I ask you now, was that NOT Jesus telling you to come and kill me, since that is what the OT teachs?

Plus, if Jesus and the father are one, according to the trinity myth, wasn't it Jesus who said:

If your own full brother, or your son or daughter, or your beloved wife, or you intimate friend, entices you secretly to serve other gods, whom you and your fathers have not known, gods of any other nations, near at hand or far away, from one end of the earth to the other: do not yield to him or listen to him, nor look with pity upon him, to spare or shield him, but kill him. Your hand shall be the first raised to slay him; the rest of the people shall join in with you. [Deuteronomy 13:7-12 NAB]

I hate to say it sirr, but man, you are damn pathetic liar.. JUST LIKE PAUL, the anti-CHRIST.

And by the way, logically speaking, the term "fulfill" does not mean destroying the commandments, because Jesus started saying that he did not come to destroy the old commandments!!

No Jesus never taught violence toward others. The Bible is full of many versus that state "God" directed some rather horrid violence toward other humans. Christians have been killing in "his" name since.

the quran does Not say to kill people who don't believe. It is their choice to believe or not. DOnt go around making stuff up about other holy books UNLESS you know its true! In the quran, it says that violence is wrong! there are bad muslims and good muslims. It doesn't mean there all like that.

I'm sorry. I missed something here. How many people were killed in the Crusades? How many people were killed during the Spanish Inquisition? How many women were killed after being branded as "witches" all throughout Europe? Ok then.
