i downloa d amovie using azureus and when it finish i open the file i found a movie but its ext. was .daa or .add some thing like that but when i change it to .avi i get a massage from media player says that it is not support the codec used to compress this file ...daaaa

Neither of those extensions sound like a media extension. Maybe it's a compressed file similar to *.zip. If so, you'll have to extract the file using an uncompression software. This happened to me a while back when I download a *.rar file. I had to download an install winrar. Do a google search for the file extension. Some websites like www.file-ext.com can help you figure out the file type.

daa files can be only opened by poweriso, use it to open the daa file.
daa is a typr of iso file ie a cd image. Open It With Power ISO

You need the K-lite Codec pack. This will supply the many different codecs and a free player to play them!
