Do you see the problem with this?! You do NOT want to go out with him again! You do NOT want to sleep with him, at least not in any meaningful sense, which I don't think is possible given your history. I suggest you stay far, far away in the romantic/intimate sense.
Now, the REAL question is whether or not tell your BFF that her man is a pig. That is where things get real ugly...

Trust me on this. Have some self control. What is cheating going to do? OK you'll get together and have sex. Then what? How long will you do that for? Most likely you will be found out and people will get very hurt. When that happens you may lose him completely and you will lose a friend also. He needs to make up his mind. He either wants to be with you or the other girl. Don't let him talk you into giving him sex on the side. Would you want him doing that to you if he was your boyfriend now? Shows you right there what kind of guy he is. And don't get all wrapped up in this "but it's because he loves me" crap. If he did and he really wanted to be with you guess where he'd be? I think you should move on.

Cheating will only hurt your friend more!
Plus if he is willing to cheat on your best friend why wouldn't he cheat on you?
It would be really sad for you to lose your bff over a guy who is obviously is not worth the time for either of you.
I would tell your bff what he said to you and the 2 of you can give him a verbal lashing together.

Try and distance yourself as much as possible from this cretin, or he will destroy your friendship with your (supposed) best friend and truly- is he really worth that? Just remeber that boyfriends come and go, but true friends are always there...

You have to let him finish with this girl before he goes back to you. There is something about her that he likes or he wouldn't be with her. If you go back with him now then he may say the same to her that he is now saying to you. Be patient if it's meant to be it will happen. Continue to be his friend, right now that is your place.
