Those who work there are protected from the rays that enable one to "see through the body". The rays are directed only to the place to be "seen". Xray goes straight ahead not side ways. It could injure personnel (causing cancer, leukemia) if they were not protected as they are.

well unless they scan you which you'd realise cause youd have to stand still for a bit. and even if they do.....theyl just see your bones!!! so if your really worried, make sure you move alot so any scans are blurred!
