What happens to people like me who don't believe in Jesus when we die?

Exactly the same thing that happens to people who do believe in Jesus! We die, that's that! As lovely as the idea of an afterlife is, in my mind its very unlikely, although its a great comfort to some. I prefer to live my life as best I can as I believe its the only one I have!

Probably the same thing that would have happened if you did believe in him. If not believing in God was as bad as is made out, then surely he would have given us more of an indication than a highly suspect book written decades after the original event.

But I suspect your question was more like "people like me who choose to believe that Jesus is a liar". Well, you'll have plenty of time to ask the architect of death.

I suppose that would have to depend upon your religion. In Hinduism for example you would reincarnate. In Ancient Sumer going to heaven (Home of the gods) was not where humans belonged, so was the worst thing that could happen to a soul, and happened when a body was burned.

I pray everyday for people like you to come to know Jesus. The greatness of His Love can fill your heart with so much joy you can't believe. He will give you your hearts desire if you only seek Him and really walk the walk and talk the talk. He is a gentleman, He will never force himself on anyone. We must seek Him with all our hearts and pray everyday for His peace, strength, and grace to get through this life we live now. He will give it to you all you need to do is invite Him to your heart. Get on your knees and pray, cry out to Him like a child. I will continue to pray for the lost, because if they only knew how it feels to have Him living inside of them they would have accepted Him along time ago.

ok here is my view point,
native americans did not know of, or worship Jesus. later it was introduced to them but to begin with native americans believed in The Great Spirit. were they wrong? I don't think so. did their dead get a spiritual burial regardless...yes...after life?? who's to say...
it is all in you. personal. I do not go to church, I pray to God when I feel I need to. I have never been "close" to God. he has made me mad...I have made him mad. but I BELIEVE and for me that is very important.what will happen to me when I die? I will see and be with my loved ones once again. why would God deny us that? he loves us and I believe

some will say you will be bbq on the grill of righteousness, while others will say that you simply cease to exist, and still others will say you will be reincarnated. the simple truth is my good friend, no one truly knows what happens after we die. i have a simple belief based on the words of john and paul (not the disciples, the beatles) the love we take is equal to the love we make. true immortality comes from the memories and love of those we leave behind after we die.
