you need to update your codex, if that is the only thing that the sound doesn't work on.you can do a web search for them.

If the DVD is only made to play on a DVD player and not in your computer - then you're out of luck. Try it out in a regular DVD player.

You may have accidently deleted a sound driver from your computer. Try looking at the companys website for a sound driver or codec, also if you download DIVX media player (free) it may fix yer problem. (It fixed mine when same thing occured in win media player.)

Update your audio codecs. Check audio settings in control panel.
