Fruits and vegetables are always good. If you like Cheetos, they have no calories. I love them. Stay away from fast foods as much as possible, and also sodas. I have lost allot of weight and eat almost everything I want, just smaller portions. I also drink alot of juices and water.

The healthiest foods taste the best but tastes get perverted. They are called acquired tastes. Fasting helps reset your tastes so you like healthy foods like raw fruits and vegetables.

Site below has info from 8 MDs about fasting. It also tells how raw foods keep you slim and why it is better to eat a lot of water than drink it. Examples: If you have not eaten for a few hours and are thirsty go get watermelon and eat as much of it as you want. Then you will have less need for those highly processed foods like pasta, bread, pizza, sandwiches, donuts, cakes, cookies, crackers, pretzels, bagels, bisquits etc. It is all refined wheat and very, very, very, very fattening.

Meats are high in protein which is good but they inject them with all these fattening hormones which fatten you up when you eat them. So get protein from nuts, seeds and beans (all high in protein).

Here are some I like but you need to find your own. Asian pears, avacados, grapes, apples, dried figs (best candy), dried grapes called raisins, celery, coleslaw, salads with ingredients you like and more. See site below to cover the best strategies and losing weight which could be bodyfat, retained water or waste. Even has a page called "a new religion" to help with stress which cause people to eat more food and more unhealthy food.

I love watermelon!
It's so tastey and a great replacement for all the sugary foods I used to eat.
