How can anyone that has read the Quran not honestly say it is a book of hate. It teaches people to hate Christians and that it is okay to kill them.

It is occasionally argued that "there is no compulsion in religion" (Sura 2:256). But this was abrogated (replaced) when there were enough Muslims to start a jihad (Sura 2:106). The later teaching (still held by most of Islam, and the example of Muhammed) is that it is acceptable to kill any who oppose Islam (Sura 5:32).

Not only is OK to kill them (christians), Those who kill infidels are reserved a special place in heaven, supposedly. The Qu'ran is indeed a violent book based on hate.

Well the bible is grounds for hate, too. It's more subtle, but it still leads you to hating those who don't accept it. Religions are sources of hate, in general, because they tell you you're the only ones, and the others are Satan's work of art, or whatever each religion phrases it.

i have never read the book.. but i think you are probably right just by what the words in the bible says..the devil is lose here on this earth and he comes to kill , steal and destroy.. and he can even come unto us with a look of a angel but be of the devil...we have to be careful of who we are around and believe these days.. there is so much deceit in this world today...BUT it is all written in the words of the bible.. we need to try the spirit and see if they are of god.. many today have friends that are really not friends at all.. one of the 10 commandments is thou shall not kill...and god knows our circumstances and he knows our hearts... and we will all be accountable for our deeds here on earth.. i hope i helped you some.. but i am glad to know that you know the book is not biblical at all..

I wouldnt consider it a book of hate out of respect for the people that beleive it and follow it as their religion, but there are some troubling things in there, for instance stating that it is okay to "strike" one's wife, etc..

They can not.

The hatred and killing comes from religious leaders who manipulate the words to suit their own selfish ends. It is and has been the same with the Christian Bible and other holy works.
