protein is found in meat and plant foods, such as grains and legumes, and in eggs and dairy products, such as milk and yogurt. In order to obtain the full range of essential amino acids, you should eat a variety of protein foods. Many people choose red meat (beef, pork, lamb and veal) as their main source of protein, and eat it regularly through the week.

I suggest replacing the jelly with a fruit like bananas. Peanut butter and banana sandwiches on toast is AWESOME :-)

I've done this before and it tasted pretty good. I was a vegetarian for a while, and one thing I did was boil some beans (or microwave 'em) and mash 'em up and put 'em on bread (like a sloppy joe, only made with beans) If you want it to taste more like a sloppy joe add barbeque sauce to the beans :-) KIDNEY beans are the healthiest :-) I'm not sure which has the most protein though.

Good luck!

did you know the combination of peanut butter and 100% whole wheat bread contain 17 essential amino acids which are integral in the muscle building process. combined with 2-3 glasses of milk and you have a meal rich in protein and aminos!

i attribute this childhood diet for the reason why i'm 7 inches taller than my dad when i grew up! that and playing basketball.

Peanut butter does but jelly doesn't.

Any nuts, beans or lentils are high in protein. As are eggs and all dairy products.

Peanut butter contains protein. Beans are another source. Fish is good, too.
