Here are some hints on pronunciation:
1. V is pronounced like a W since there is no W in Latin.
2. Wherever you see ae together it is pronounced like an I (eye).
3. C is always pronounced like a K. Thus "Caesar" is pronounced like "Kaiser." There is no letter K in the Latin alphabet.
Hope this helps a bit. You might want to pick up some Latin text books if they are still available. I took Latin in High School back in 1958-1960 but I'm not sure it is even taught anymore.
PS
I just saw the answer from Ymil who said it is common for people in Central America to speak Latin. I think he's confused. You are right when you call Latin a dead language. That means it is not spoken anywhere as the main language of any people. Except for some scholars and, of course, the Roman Catholic Church (and even they give it an Italian rather than a true Latin pronunciation) it is not spoken. It is, however, the root language from which so many languages have evolved. That's why Italian, Spanish and even Englixh are called "Romance" languages. It has nothing to do with love but simply that the "Roman" language is the root.

In Italy we study Latin for 5 yrs at high school, so I know it pretty well, maybe better than English, too! I've never looked for site where they can teach you Latin but if you want to learn Latin so much contact me, I'm on school holidays so I actually have a lot of time and almost nothing to do.
Anyway, good choice, Latin is an interesting language and it's very useful to learn Italian, Spanish and German.

you can download free software to learn Latin there. As a student trying to teach myself Latin, I know how hard it is. I haven't worked on it for awhile now, because of my regular classes. I think it is a beautiful language and I wish you luck!
Also,
http://www.quia.com/shared/latin/
they have games and translations guides. I recommend the Oxford Latin Course as well, you can get it at any bookstore.
